Fog

A Courtly Affair

Fog sculptures

Hesse's most beautiful Baroque estates form the backdrop to the annual Fürstliches Gartenfest. We had the opportunity to install fog sculptures in three different locations, with stunning results. In the process we were guided by a number of questions, such as how do trees breathe? And how would it look if this were a visible process? In the end, we breathed life into the old beech tree by the pond of the terrace café. Whereas the matrix of chestnut trees next to the old post house sway to a wholly different rhythm. And in the subtle and pristine Japanese garden in Schloß Wolfsgarten we leant a poetic air to the old bridge that crosses the brook.
